ROSS NOBLE (SYDNEY COMEDY FESTIVAL 1999)

Having only seen Noble on two tv appearances, one on O’Loghlin on Saturday Night and another on Good News Week, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but he seemed quite amusing. Bizarre yet amusing. And after seeing this show, all I had to say was “OH MY GOD”.

Ross Noble is refered to as the new Billy Connolly, but, and there may be a lynching in this for me saying this, but he craps all over Connolly. For someone of such a young age (early twenties)

It’s hard to describe what actually happened during the show. It’s not that I don’t remember, but more than it would make no sense to read it. The idea of the show was basically Ross on stage speaking about whatever came into his head. And in that same order that it came into his head. He often went off on tangents that would last over 10 minutes before coming back to what he was originally talking about. My head was aching after seeing this show, but it was well worth it.

I think I have found my new idol.
